CECIC-Biomass Energy Investment Corporation is one of the subsidiaries wholly owned by China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation. The aim of establishing BEIC is to lead and promote the development of biomass energy industry. The company was registered in the National Industrial and Commercial Bureau on Nov. 3, 2005, with a registered capital of 300 million yuan. Currently, the company’s total assets is about 530 million yuan.

Based in Beijing, there are three stockholders, they are China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation, China National Environmental Protection Corporation and Shenzhen Jingneng Group Corporation Ltd.

Following up the important strategic arrangement of the government for the acceleration of the construction of an energy saving and environmentally friendly society, BEIC spares no effort in investment and development with an unswerving aim to lead the development of biomass energy projects. Through investment and construction of biomass direct burning power generation projects and related technology, equipment localization process, we hope to form a core competitiveness in biomass energy area and become the leader and pusher of sunshine industry to promote the development of biomass energy industry in China.
